Filipe Toledo is quite possibly the finest aerialist in the world. The Brazilian wunderkind lands bigger and better airs more consistently than anyone else on tour. Of course, the first thing his critics spout off about is that he hasn’t yet proved himself in the big stuff… but keep in mind that Toledo’s relatively young, he’s incredibly talented, and chances are pretty damn good that if he really can’t hack it in the big stuff, he’ll put himself in the position to figure it out. Because getting as good at aerials as he is takes commitment, just like big waves.
