Pipeline season may be done, but our stoke isn’t confined to one break, however legendary it is. And The Chantays, in and of themselves, are legendary for causing mass beach hysteria when they released their take of the wave with the appropriately and obviously-named 1963 classic “Pipeline.” The Southern Californians’ song just invokes stoke, and originally named “Liberty’s Whip,” it is perfect in getting ready for a long three-day Memorial Day weekend here in the States.
