I try to give people a quick visual escape from their busy lives with my photography. I typically rush to the beach after work and find myself running around, trying to capture the vivid colors and light during golden hour. I try to locate a unique place to shoot from each day, whether it’s being crouched in a beach cave, hanging up a hammock somewhere ridiculous, or taking advantage of tide pool reflections. So many people are used to the classic beach sunset shot, so I’ve always tried to find a way to stand out and play with the color, light, angles, and reflections of the landscape. So take a break from reality and check out this small selection of (mostly) some California landscapes.
