Easkey Britton has done a lot of things in her surfing career: she surfed Teahupoo when she was 16, she’s been Irelands National Champion five times over, she’s been a Billabong XXL Global Big-Wave Finalist, and she’s earned a PhD in Marine Science. The last one, of course, is the most impressive.

She’s bringing her approach to surfing – and to life – to more isolated places in the world, sharing her belief that surfing can empower women with its creative expression.
