When the waves get good on the Gold Coast, they get really good. Really good and really crowded. The caliber of the average surfer in the area is high, due mostly to the fact that there are world class waves around every corner and surfing is basically Australia’s national pastime. And early in March, the Goldie did its thing. The video above was shot on March 4, 5, and 6, and it’s a reminder that, unless you live on the Gold Coast, you’re likely not lucky enough to have waves like these at your disposal.
