It goes without saying that we’re huge fans of Dusty Payne. I mean, how could you not? His humble attitude, freakish surfing abilities, and his against-all-odds comeback story from last year could be the preface of an award-winning, fictional novel. There is, of course, nothing fictional about his accomplishments, and it blows our minds every time we are reminded of the fact that we won’t be seeing him on the 2016 World Tour. Unfortunately, that’s how the cookie crumbles, and we’re deeply saddened because of it. In the meantime, we’ll be waiting patiently for him to requalify, or come out with another banger edit like this. Either way, we simply love seeing him surf. Ladies and gentlemen, Dusty Payne.
