Witnessing Pipeline do its thing from the beach is truly a mind-out-of-body experience. Feeling the omnipotence of Pacific as she unloads on to the Hawaiian reef is as if you’re watching a miracle unfold before your very eyes. However, it’s less often that you get to see the wonderful wave that is Pipeline from a bird’s-eye view, not to mention seeing the world’s best readying for the most anticipated contest of the year. Filmer Steven Tiralongo captured a slew of wonderful barrels late evening of December 6th.
