Every time we set foot in the ocean, we run the risk of encountering a shark. They’re always there, but most times, we don’t see them or even realize the ocean’s apex predator is lurking nearby. Sharks are simply not that interested in humans. But on October 19, 2022, Lewis Watson was flying his drone over Ewa Beach on Oahu when he noticed a large shark (most likely a tiger shark) swimming amongst the surfers. Luckily, it wasn’t aggressive and left the crowd alone.
