When I anxiously strolled onto Don Hansen’s Cardiff, California property I was met first by his son Josh. Josh, tall and welcoming, nervously told me that he had shown up an hour earlier to find his 80 year old father standing on a thin strip of roof, thirty feet off of the ground, painting some siding, barefoot of course.
