When Ryan Mack points his camera at something, you know the result is going to be great. It was a strange season on the East Coast—a slow start to the season of the frozen waves had everyone in a bit of a funk. But then, in early 2018, the ocean lit up like never before and it didn’t stop for a long time. Mack spent the winter spent trudging through the snow around New Jersey, New York, New England, and Nova Scotia documenting one of the best winters in memory for the East Coast, and the edit that came out of it is just almost as good as the winter itself.
