Sometimes it is really, really nice (and necessary) to put our lives into perspective. And now is as good time as any to do so for people on the west coast, specifically those in California. We got it pretty good.

Good for the New Englander. While snow is awesome, frigid temperatures and enough ice to freeze over most of the region and make for a historic hell is not.
