Although the 101 has been closed north of Santa Barbara since the horrific mudslides, that hasn’t stopped a dedicated few from making their way to the Queen of the Coast in the first weeks of January. The new year has kicked off with plenty of fun surf, and it has been a blast chasing around recent swells and shooting some of Southern California’s premier breaks to help share the stoke. This clip includes Dane Reynolds, Luke Davis, Sean Woods, Andrew Jacobson, Shane Borland, and plenty more. There is so much talent out in the water, especially around swell events like this one, and bringing all of it into the light is my main goal.
