Jaws, or Peahi, is a place Dave Kalama knows better than anyone. As you might recall, he made a name for himself as part of the “Strapped” crew, charging massive Jaws on tow boards back in the day while changing the standards of big wave performance forever. But this is another face of Jaws, a much more friendly face. Dave and his son, Austin, along with friends Alex Aguera, Kelson Lau, and Sky Lickle whip into eight to ten-foot waves that barely break, perfect for flying on foils.
