Brothers Crosby and Griffin Colapinto recently concluded their first year on the WSL Championship Tour together. The pair recently celebrated the occasion with a fiery surf edit, posted to their YouTube channel.
In competition, 2024 was marked by dramatic highs and lows for the Colapintos. The beginning of the season saw Griffin build up steam as a contender for the title, then experience a heartbreaking finals day. Meanwhile, Crosby got to a rip-roaring start by defeating Gabriel Medina at the Pipe Pro, followed by solid finishes that led to him finishing 10th in the world, and receiving the Rookie of The Year title.
Outside of the competitive circuit, Griff starred in Trilogy: New Wave, a tribute to the classic film starring Andy Irons, Taj Burrow and Joel Parkinson. In it, Griffin teamed up with Ethan Ewing and Seth Moniz to show just how far surfing has come since the original was released in 2007.
To celebrate all that, the brothers released a new edit, entitled Year One. It serves as both a recap of 2024, and yet another reason to look forward to the upcoming CT season. Check it out below.
