When it comes to surf films that are far better than average, Neville and Anderson are something of a match made in heaven. Well, the newest one just dropped onto the internet, and it’s no different. Ceremony is one of the better surf films we’ve seen in a long, long time.
The idea behind it is relatively common: escape from the everyday. “Unfazed by isolation and in a celebration of solitude, Craig quiets the sound of daily minutia with ceremonial treks into the deserted unknown,” the film’s description reads. “Craig Anderson’s Ceremony celebrates the luxury of silence and a desire to disappear into the lonely landscapes in search for rare and isolated waves to ride.”
