It’s been a tick since the knock-kneed bottom turns of the inimitable Craig Anderson have graced the screens of our devices. Since his split from Quiksilver, both he and fellow Former co-founder and team rider Dane Reynolds have been able to remove themselves from the web edit production demands of corporate overlords choosing instead to pour their time and energy into passion projects.
Case in point: the above. In a callback to the late 2000s, Craig Anderson and Kai Neville recently teamed up on this video called “The Quieter You Are the More You Can Hear,” which may be less tautology than a statement about embracing a mantra of saying less and observing and listening more. At a time when so many are concerned with cultivating their personal brand, the idea of taking a step back is compelling.
