Surfing in California can be really, really crowded. You can always tell the ones that grew up here and the ones that moved here, because the former looks cool as a cucumber while the latter is a usually a seething mass of vein-pulsing rage at the amount of people in the water.
A good longboarder is a sight to see. Great longboarding is the act of making almost falling over looking graceful, and having two incredible longboarders sharing a wave is something that’s pretty rare to see. Corey Colapinto and Tommy Witt are two of the best longboarders, and the they deal with California crowds with more grace than most.
