Corey Colapinto doesn’t make surfboards that you’ll find in a lot of surf shops. They’re not your “standard” shapes. Not by any means. He loves to play around, design-wise, and over the years he’s found a bit of a niche. Originally, he rode shortboards exclusively, as many kids growing up in San Clemente, Calif. will do. Then he got into longboarding, as many kids-going-on adults in San Clemente will do. Extraordinarily proficient on both, Corey now leans towards a mid-length, generally in the 7-8 foot range. And lately, he’s been going super thin with them. Take, for example, the board he calls the “8-Foot Thin 4 Fin.” He’s riding it at home in the video above, and don’t it just look like a blast?
