Fortunately for the Northeast, this past winter brought a variety of swells, many of which proved to be noteworthy. I have been shooting the Long Island surf scene for a few years now, but I would have to say that this winter was one of the most consistent I have seen.
My name is Brian Shannon, and I am a photographer from Long Island, New York. This collection of photographs is the Long Island winter (November 2014 through April 2015) I saw. I enjoy shooting surfers and waves in particular in an effort to capture the beauty of nature and all the Mother Nature has to offer us.
