As we all know, this season hasn’t been a great one in the Pacific. A serious lack of swell has been driving everybody crazy across the Hawaiian Islands. We were reaching the end of the year and December had yet to deliver. But for a few lucky surfers, a decent swell arrived right before Christmas. It was an unlikely swell and wind direction that turned this secret spot on and Clay Marzo and Marcio Freire were just a couple of the standouts that capitalized on it that day.
