What is there to say about Clay Marzo that hasn’t already been said? He’s an unrivaled talent in terms of both creativity and raw skill. He has the rare ability to pull off some of the most insane-looking maneuvers you’ve ever seen, while also looking like it took absolutely no effort. In short: he’s one hell of a surfer.
For a person who makes a living freesurfing, he’s also a refreshingly private person. Of course, being a professional surfer requires a certain amount of public interaction – he has a YouTube channel after all – but he doesn’t get caught up in the trappings of stardom. He’s not constantly churning out mediocre lifestyle content or putting on a front for the internet masses. He’s just Clay, and he’s surfing like a madman.
