The Inertia

Mason Ho might have made a name for himself surfing over virtually dry reefs, but he’s not the only game in town. Clay Marzo is equally comfortable in sketchy conditions, and he put that on full display in his latest video.

In the new post to his YouTube channel, Marzo pulled off laybacks, barrel rides and airs in his inimitable style. As we’ve come to expect from the Maui native, he’s able to so effortlessly pull off maneuvers that basically nobody else can, that at this point it almost feels pedestrian. However, this time the whole thing was made all the more impressive because it took place in extremely shallow water.

Marzo carried out his acrobatics on a 5’11” Warp Twin from Album Surf. Album has been a longtime sponsor of Marzo, part of a growing list of sponsors to which he recently recently added Von Zipper.
