We filmed this video on Saturday, February 6th. The swell wasn’t quite as big as the forecast said it would be, but there were plenty of shoulder-high, perfect little corners, and even some bigger sets rolling through around head-high. The air was warm, the sun was shining, and the water was crystal clear. What a beautiful day in Southern California.
We saw surfers of all skill levels out there, and there were plenty of waves for everyone. The hard part was picking out the best waves and surfers to follow with the drone. There was almost too much action! We filmed until all four drone batteries were drained, and I think we got some nice shots. I hope you all like it!
