The Inertia

Remember a decade or so ago when finless surfboards almost became a thing? They were around for a while, and it seemed as though it might actually catch on. But then, I think, people realized that finless surfing is very, very hard. But for a select few, it was a lot more than just a passing fad.

Of course, alaias were around a long time ago, but like anything else, surfboards evolved. People like Derek Hynd make friction-free surfing look incredibly. Fast, fluid, and smooth, a good finless surfer looks to be having about as much fun as one can have on a wave. And one such good finless surfer is Cam Scott.

In the video you see here, Scott slides around the East Coast of Australia and on the North Shore of Oahu. The YouTube channel NobodySurf thought it would be a worthwhile watch to make this clip, and I’m sure you’ll agree with them.
