One of my favorite mutant beachbreaks came to life this week. This wave resembles a slab more than a normal beachbreak and is far from perfect. Actually, 99 percent of the waves violently close out. But for those who seek a little more of an adrenaline rush, this wave brings them happiness. I called Chris Wells to get more info on what it was like to surf it.
