For Californians, 2018 has begun with quite a bang. From fickle spots finding their groove in Southern California to daredevils braving ash run-off and mudslides in the Ventura area to big wave magnets doing their thing in Northern California, surfers have had plenty to smile about here. A few days ago I was able to capture some of the recent run of swell with a few friends, and the good vibes continued. Hoping for much more of this in the near future.
