With summer on the horizon you can expect to see plenty of carnage at The Wedge. Just make sure to get there before 10am if you want to do anything besides bodysurf.
I blindly followed my GPS nowhere near Newport Beach instead of The Wedge (hey it was early and I was tired), but luckily my buddy was there and caught Brad Domke and a plethora of other people while I re-routed.
It ended up being a beautiful morning with everyone having a blast. A perfect warmup for the “proper” Wedge swell we are all waiting for. And I’ll be there on time when it’s on again, maybe with a drone.
