Last summer, Bethany Hamilton took a surf trip of a different kind: Lemoore, California, the home of Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch. And guess who she took with her? Her little boy, Tobias, with whom she shared a few waves. Also in the video above: proof that Bethany Hamilton is absolutely ripping.
“Those special moments in life of pure joy and excitement are to be cherished,” she wrote on Youtube.
“I had a few of those moments this past summer on a surf trip to Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch in Lemoore, CA. It’s a man-made wave that poses such an exciting challenge to surfers like me, but that also a beginner like my lil guy, Tobias, can have fun with.”
