And since he’s surfed everything in between, that means that Ben Gravy has surfed a lot of ferry waves — probably, in fact, more than anyone else in the whole world. Which makes him uniquely qualified to make the following claim: this is the best ferry wave in America.
“I’ve been to many, many boat created waves in my life,” he says, “and this has to be the best ferry wave in America. I have never seen a wave fully stand up and give multiple turn opportunity on an actual open face!” And while we’re certainly not the ferry wave connoisseurs that Ben Gravy is, we’re inclined to agree.
