Ben Gravy is on a mission: the guy is determined to surf somewhere in every country in the world. The way things are going, he’s going to complete that mission, but it’s going to be a hell of a journey. He’s already ticked off quite a few unlikely boxes, and while on his current trip through Europe, he ended up chasing a hurricane swell to Belgium. Up next was the Netherlands, where he snagged a few waves produced by that same storm.
“This trip to Europe has been eye opening to say the least,” he wrote. “Storm surfing in Belgium and then subsequently chasing that same hurricane into the Netherlands the getting a little dose of the surf culture here on the North Sea has been so much fun.”
According to Ben the waves there are share quite a few similarities with the ones Ben grew up on.
“I can relate to these surfers heavily because of spending my life surfing in New Jersey,” he continued. “We have very similar conditions…very challenging!”
