As he is prone to do, Ben Gravy takes a moment out of his latest video to get introspective. “Not every session is going to be the session of all sessions,” opines the YouTuber and novelty wave surfer as he eats a drumstick and drives a rented sprinter van up the coast of California. “Not every session is going to get that special meter hooting. Some session are just for cruising. Some session are just for a nice mental, spiritual reset.”
From there, he took the aforementioned van up north to continue his self-proclaimed “dream tour” that included at least one discovery of a hidden gem. It seems that, since his debilitating injury, subsequent surgery and eventual recovery, Gravy is finally getting back into the swing of things. “After the tough year I’ve had with my injury and everything this was kind of everything I needed to kick start my traveling & surfing adventures again,” he wrote in the caption.
Hopefully that’s a forecast for more classic Ben Gravy content to come.
