I didn’t take any surf photos this whole summer. It was probably the lamest summer in California in a while. So the second I saw the forecast I immediately thought it would be good in San Diego. On a typical south swell you’ll find dozens of photographers shooting at Lowers or the Wedge. You’ll find me, however, searching the nooks and crannies to find uncrowded lineups. With the incoming morning tide, offshore breeze, and good amount of swell it would have been hard not to score, especially if you know where to look.
