Most of us don’t have the luxury of bringing a whole quiver stacked full of different surfboards on a surf trip. Generally, we’re choosing a board that will work for the expected conditions and hoping the conditions match the board.
But when given the opportunity, people like Teiki Ballian will bring a range of surfboards that leaves almost nothing to be desired. On a trip to the Maldives, he brought along a mini simmons, and alaia, a couple of twinnies, and a whole lot more. And of course, he got barreled on pretty much all of them.
