In part three of “Baja Smugglers,” Luis and I head ten hours down the dusty Baja Peninsula further into the desert to uncover truths about the Panga smugglers. We had to meet one. After hours in the car, we came upon a man and his broken down tractor on the side of the road. He ended up pointing us in the right direction.
Upon reaching his suggested destination, we surfed and then encountered a group who told us a bit more than we were ready to hear. Things get a little hairy in this installment.
