Nothing but a tiny bed and four walls for two months could turn a man into a quivering mess. If there wasn’t the anticipation of what the West Pacific Ocean had on offer, I could have gone crazy. A rumored back to back swells had everyone on edge, the talk of potential below sea level kegs had me nervous with excitement. To then see the infamous Palikir Pass in all its glory was out of this world — anyway you view this wave is truly beautiful!
On my return from Micronesia, I’m hosting my first solo show in Mornington at a local gallery. It consists of 21 original pieces, prints and a zine. It’s happening May 23rd at Art Space 8.
If you’re unable to make it to Mornington, check out more of Hayden’s work at HaydenOneillPhoto.com and be sure to follow him on Instagram. Also, put a pair eyes on his cool collective The Sailors Slum.
