Swim, lil’ guy… swim! What a triumphant (but probably short-lived) victory for all the lil’ guys in the world.
Celebratory nature aside, how great is it that the video edit cuts off after the baby sea lion swims back out of the cage while the the great white was still within striking distance? This lil’ guy either has big ol’ balls or is a complete and utter idiot. Fortunately, cage operator Martin Graf said the baby sea lion made it safely to shore this go-around — but you have to figure that confidence is going to come back and quite literally bite the lil’ guy in the ass some day.
