When the Wedge goes off, it’s always a good show. It’s a supremely weird wave, one that has a handful of specialists who’ve got the place pretty wired. The Wedge, however, isn’t a place where one should expect to come out of the barrel, no matter how wired one has it. Instead, it’s about getting yourself in the spot to get as deep as you can, then crossing your fingers and hoping it lets you out.
The video above, courtesy of BEEFS T.V., is from a day they called the “biggest and gnarliest day of summer 2022.” It was filmed on August 27, and Dawson Sherman, Tyler Stanaland, John “Beanz” Porzuczek, Cory Bolter, Tanner McDaniel, Craig Whetter, Joe Suzuki, and many others showed up to throw caution to the wind.
