Sometimes, the waves just don’t cooperate. Getting skunked sucks, but only if you have a closed mind. Sure, surfing great waves is super fun, but simply messing around on little ones can be a blast too — just as long as you have the right mindset. Ari Browne certainly has that.
Of course, Browne surfs on a level far higher than the Average Joe, which makes it a little easier for him to have a whole lot of fun on a finless foamy in barely-there waves, but hell, if you’ve got a board and you’ve got some water, you sure can make it into a good time. And you don’t even stand up to do it.
