Today, nearly 100 million tons of plastic is drifting around the planet’s oceans. A world without plastic may be inconceivable, but do we know the consequences of our self-indulgent plastic consumption?

National Geographic posses the question, “Are you eating plastic for dinner?” Unfortunately for your stomach and longterm health, the human race has done a pretty good job of intoxicating marine life while simaltaneously putting the health of our own species at serious risk.
