From the ocean to the mountains, I do my absolute best to maintain a positive approach to life. And it is my older sister, Sophia, born with spina bifida, who inspires me most and keeps me smiling. Together, we take on challenges and do what we do best —being happy.
So it was great when SkullCandy and National Ability Center (NAC) gave us a chance to extend our pursuit of happiness to a day on the slopes skiing side by side. There was no way we were letting this opportunity pass us by… and since we’ve been going surfing lately, I had full confidence that Sophia would be up for the challenge!
It’s really incredible to me how opportunities unfold when you are passionate about them. Skiing with my sister was so special. I have so much gratitude and give heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this dream come true for Sophia and my entire family. To spend the day on the slopes with Sophia has brought such light into our lives and reaffirmed that anything really is possible. We have no idea what is next, but knowing that the possibilities are endless makes me truly happy…
