Haydenshapes does a bang up job of mixing art and surfing. For decades, surfers have been doodling all over their boards, mostly making them look worse. Sometimes, those little doodles make it onto a t-shirt, and you have Summer Teeth. Just kidding, Dane!
Jason Woodside is a New York artist. He’s got an obvious style, and it’s all over massive murals in the not only NYC, but LA, Washington, and Paris. The murals part a collaboration with Haydenshapes of an exclusive range of surfboard art. The guy is famous, which is pretty damn difficult to be when you’re an artist. Woodside recently hand-painted a Haydenshapes Merlot, and Craig Anderson took it out for a spin on Australia’s South Coast. An artist on a surfboard painted by an artist.
