The Inertia

Laura Enever grew up in North Narrabeen on the northern beaches of Sydney. Even though she spends most of the year traveling the globe with the World Tour, she still calls this place home. She has fond memories of growing up in this small coastal suburb, which has a thriving surf scene and has spawned internationally renowned talents like Nathan Hedge, Damien Hardman, and Simon Anderson.

Here, Laura recalls being a young grom and surfing her local spots of The Alley and the famous Narrabeen Left before and after school. When Laura was 17 she won the Billabong Pro Juniors event in front of her home crowd and in 2015 she won the Australian Open of Surfing just a few suburbs down the coast in Manly. In this film, Laura opens up about her passion for surfing and what has kept her so hooked since she first took up the sport before her teens.
