There isn’t anywhere else on earth with an inside section quite like the inside section at Nazaré. It’s not exactly a place most people would choose to be, if they were given the choice. But part and parcel of surfing Nazaré is dealing with that inside section. There’s simply no way around it: if you’re going to surf the outside, you’re going to end up on the inside. “The inside of #Nazare on a giant day is not something to take lightly,” wrote Garrett McNamara, a man who knows that inside section better than most. “Wonder how these guys felt the next day?”
