In the realm of hydrofoil surfing, there aren’t too many who do it as well as Adam Bennetts. Honestly, as far as I’ve seen, there’s no one who does it as well. It’s still a bit of a fringe discipline — one that certainly gets its fair share of criticism — but when someone makes it look as easy as Mister Bennetts (that’s his YouTube handle, by the way), it’s hard to disagree that it looks like just about the most fun anyone can have.
Bennetts, who spent a fair amount of time living in Indonesia and riding regular surfboards, recently left his home in Australia to head to east Indo. And it was there that he scored this late-afternoon session in the jungle with no one around and a whole pile of insanely good waves.
