The Inertia

Uluwatu is pretty well known for its leg-burningly long waves. When it gets to a certain size at the outer bombie, the wave of the day — and pretty much all the other ones, in fact — are going to give you a good ride, to say the least. But the wave you see above was exceptionally long and big enough to warrant the use of a Jet Ski. Tai “Buddha” Graham was on the end of the rope, and he surfed it for a very long time.

“This was the biggest swell of the year,” wrote Surfers of Bali on YouTube, “and even though it wasn’t one of the bigger waves during the session, it was one of the longest – ridden for more than a minute.”
