The Inertia

As we approach the end of April here in California, the water is already starting to warm up, south swells are beginning to unveil their beautiful faces, and the likelihood of Maverick’s turning on again diminishes by the minute. However, the North Pacific woke up last week for a brief moment and a few surfers showed up to bid her farewell before she goes into hibernation until next winter. Although this swell wasn’t classic Maverick’s, the 20-foot faces were enough to make most guys out in the lineup pull back.
