We all obsess over our favorite surf spots, so it’s only appropriate we know the roots and history of those waves. This is a very brief history of San Diego’s Black’s Beach. This place has history that dates so far back I had a hard time finding accurate information. Rumor has it that the whole beach was privately owned and was at one time all farm land (but I didn’t find any evidence proving that).
These four and a half minutes are filled with some interesting facts you may have already known and some you may have never heard about one of California’s most iconic waves.
