Let’s face it; we were all beginners at one point. The 11-time World Champ, Kelly Slater, started somewhere. Irons, Florence, Toledo; they all started out as beginners, but they learned. If only we had these useful illustrations, then we could’ve saved a lot of time learning the hard way. Perhaps we could’ve saved ourselves the embarrassment of being yelled at. Lineups these days are crowded, I get it. But maybe these videos will serve as a safe, smart foundation for someone looking to start surfing. So check out my new series of instructional videos for beginners (audio is in English and writing is in Portuguese).
