The Inertia

The Coronavirus is a terrible thing. Death and financial ruin, etc. Horrible stuff all over the world. There is, however, a small (very small, in the context of things) silver lining for a few lucky souls: those in Bali at the moment. That’s because Bali has seen one of the most incredible runs of swell in recent memory, and there’s almost no one there to surf it. Take, for example, Impossibles on August 12. It’s nearly perfect. And lo and behold, there are just a few people there enjoying the spoils of an empty, perfect Indonesian lineup — something that is incredibly rare to see… if it weren’t for a global pandemic.
