The Inertia

Welcome to the next chapter in high performance competitive surfing. The 2015 Hurley Pro at Trestles begins on Wednesday, September 9th and has an event window that runs through Sunday September 20th.

The versatility of the right-hand point break made up of cobblestone reef at Lowers will showcase contemporary performance levels of both traditional power rail surfing and high-flying above-the-lip surfing. Rippable long period waves generated from the Southern Hemisphere are on a certain collision course with what promises to be a transformational moment in the history of professional surfing.

2014 Hurley Pro at Trestles Innovation Award winner Filipe Toledo will be at the forefront of likely high performance standouts at the 2015 Hurley Pro. Julian Wilson, John John Florence, and Kolohe Andino will also be pushing performance to never before seen levels during their respective runs at the event title. Veteran surfers, like the current Jeep Ratings Leader Adriano De Souza, along with Mick Fanning and Kelly Slater, all share a tried and true approach to successfully competing at Lowers. Each of these formidable surfers will force all challengers to surf near mistake-free if they hope to advance victoriously.
